I see your top post has the registration ending June 10.
I think this might be incorrect ?

                        Hey!

I did the Warm Up session at the start of the season, and i'm managing to get another one in. Looking forward to it. Unless is starts snowing again like last time, I'll bring my RX8 (Jordon suggested this was classed as "STX" last time) instead of the Subaru. My son Doug (many of you met and welcomed) is coming as well.

As such, I'd like to volunteer for a corner somewhere on the "near" side of the lot so that I can keep an eye on him better.

Doug invited his band teacher (Dave) to come out too - so I'm going to need some help with classing.

2004 Volvo V70R with an ECU tune that has a boost increase in it. Rest of car is stock. Tires are Pirelli pzero.

My best guess at it is:
                        G Street Prepared

                        How did I do?

I'm not sure where to put Dave on the volunteer request. It will be his first time out, and he has significant mobility challenges (out of the car). He's not going to be able to be a cone chaser.

Great to hear that you are coming back to give it another try...

I would suggest that Dave considers doing heat Waviers, this would allow him to be seated in his car or a chair for the duration of his work assignment.

I would prefer to keep you and Doug a bit closer than having you on course assignment. I would suggest that you try one of the following: Starter, Grid Master, or maybe Chief of workers.... These work assignments would keep you close to the grid area / Doug.

Volvo V70R, I think you might be on the money with that class.

email Jordan - [email protected] and let him know what work assignments you are interested as he will be doing the assignments for this event.

                          Any questions, let us know

Close.....but not quite. It's actually in ASP. There isn't a G Street Prepared - Street (stock) classes go to H, but Street Prepared classes only go to F. The "Street" class that a car starts in has no bearing on it's placement in the following classes. Yup - alphabet soup

I would recommend just registering in G-Street (GS). The increase in boost isn't going to make any real difference on street tires anyway.

As far as work assignments I would suggest morning waivers, event waivers, or even the cleanup (JIBC setup) crew at the end. Those are the most likely to allow you some freedom and flexibility

                              Hey man,
My son always comes out with me too. Not sure how old yours is but mine will turn 12 here in a few days. They might enjoy having another kid to hang out with.
I've been usually getting a duty like starter or main radio dude. Makes it handy to stay close. I'm sure they will work with you. Welcome back and see you there.
