    Classing info......again

Bought my own car now so....

99 Civic cx hatchback back bone stock engine with koni yellow's GC coil sleeves, ASR rear brace and swaybar. Rolling on 15x6.5 rotas and 205/50r15 Falken Azinas.

I believe it should be STS unfortunately.....am I right?

    Thanks again.

    See you on the 14th.

The brace doesn't look like it would exactly fit to the letter of the STS rules, but it's unlikely anyone would protest you at a local event.

Ok thanks, I'll talk to someone at the event and see.

You could just take the brace out and be fully STS legal (from what I understand).

I believe I would also need to remove the rear sway bar as this brace/mount is how the bar is attached. I don't even know if I have the hardware needed. Just got the car last week as is so need to look into it.

If the rear sway bar is attached to this brace, it might be STS legal.
I for one do not have an issue with this mod and would welcome more STS cars at our events.

Yes it appears to be the way the bar attaches to the rear. I did not build the car and just got it as a $1k "get back into Motorsorts car" so I'm doing to best I can to understand what it has or does not have.

Thanks, I look forward to been schooled in STS 😉.

Also since I have not autocrossed in 15 years are there people that can ride along and give pointers? First time autocrossing a FWD.

Past autocross cars where S/C MR2, Alfa Romeo Milano and I co drove a Datsun 2000 roadster a few times.
