Jordan's post indicated that the membership FEES are built into the event entry prices. That would imply the fee is added to the entry, and that could be interpreted as a cash grab could it not?

Yes it could be interpreted that way, but that is not the case.... VCMC does not charge a membership fee.

Yes, as Dave clarified we did away with Membership fees a couple years ago. Now you become a member with VCMC by signing up for any of our events.

I have and I just sent an email to memberships. What's going to happen when I sign up for CACC and don't provide them with a copy of my DL? I hope they accept it or else I'm going to need a refund.

I would suggest that is a question for CACC. VCMC doesn't have any control or involvement in issuing CACC licences.

What are we running against in this event?
Class only? By group? Or overall pax?

Quick question about numbers - do we need class decals as well? 4.4 in the ASN SoloSport Regs discusses a minimum height and stroke for numbers, and shows classes in the graphic, but does not specify a minimum size / stroke.

                    Thank you

Yes as per the supplemental regs 5.2, class identification is required for this event. As you noted the 4.4 does not discuss a minimum height and stroke of the class letters and as such is not controlled.

Although not required, I suggest that the guidelines used by SCCA for class identification size and stoke be used.

Numbers must be a minimum of 8” (20.5 cm) high with a 1¼” (3.25 cm)
stroke. Class letters must be a minimum of 4” (10.25 cm) high with a ¾”
                      (2 cm) stroke
. In all cases, the height of the class letters must be between
25% and 75% of the height of the numbers. Stroke width must be at least
10% of the height (see Appendix F.)
                      34 — 2017 SCCA® National Solo® Rules

Please note that masking tape is acceptable for Numbers and Class identification.

I would also be interested in setup on Friday afternoon.

                          Cheers,
